Antiferroelectricity predicted in a long-known family of oxides: were antiferroelectrics always there?
Many applications have been envisaged for antiferroelectric materials, but the list of known antiferroelectrics is relatively short. We predict that a family of oxides known since the 1950s should be added to the list, and we point to abundant mineral families that host promising candidates.
